There’s something special about winding down the week with a warm drink, good company and beautiful surroundings. On Friday, 29th August at 17:00, we invite you for a relaxed time to connect, chat and enjoy a little fresh air together.
Meeting at Rantapuisto
We’ll begin our evening at the dance stage in Rantapuisto, a peaceful park right by the lake. From here, the group will set off together for a short walk—or, if the weather allows, a boat ride—towards our destination, the Lasikota (Glass Igloo).
A Story Along the Way
On our journey, we will (hopefully) be joined by Mari Järvinen Kantori from Alavus Church, who will share insights and stories about Alavus, giving us a deeper appreciation for the town and its surroundings.
The Lasikota Experience
Once we arrive at the Lasikota, we’ll take some time to explore. For those feeling adventurous, the observation deck offers panoramic views over Kirkkojärvi, especially beautiful in late summer light.
Inside the Glass Igloo, we’ll enjoy coffee, conversation and a warm atmosphere, surrounded by nature and the peaceful sounds of the lake.
