At WIISE’s regular networking meetings, we arrange guest speakers to talk on a specific theme. For example, in 2021, we discussed culture shock when moving to Etelä-Pohjanmaa, Paluumuuttajat (Finns who moved back to live in E-P), business stories from immigrants who became entrepreneurs, and more. 

At these meetings, there is an opportunity to meet new people, grow your network, make potential business connections and make new friends. 

Many of our members have lived and worked in Etelä-Pohjanmaa for years or even decades. Over that time we have built up a substantial number of friends, colleagues, partners and contacts. As a member of WIISE, you too can access that network, we are very happy to make useful introductions between WIISE members and our wider network.

We can also offer some mentoring to individual members with a business idea. This could be as soon as you move to Etelä-Pohjanmaa or when you are planning to make a change in your work situation. Whether you need advice, guidance or a job, if we can make introductions we will be happy to do so.
