Designed by renowned Finnish architect Alvar Aalto, Seinäjoki City Theatre stands as a testament to the city’s rich cultural heritage. The theater, nestled among other notable Aalto-designed landmarks like the City Hall and Lakeuden Risti Church, is an integral component of Seinäjoki’s Aalto Centre (Aalto-keskus).
During the guided tour, you will have the opportunity to explore the theater’s design, learn about its history, and gain insights into the creative process behind its productions. Whether you are a theater enthusiast or simply curious about the arts, this tour promises to be both educational and inspiring.
Please note that the tour is limited to 20 people and is exclusively for WIISE members only. If you haven’t already joined WIISE, now is the perfect time to become a member and secure your spot for this cultural experience.
After the tour, we will head over to Puoti & Ihana Kahvila for our usual coffee session. Only a stone’s throw away from the theatre, this cozy cafe exudes warmth and hospitality. It is the perfect opportunity to unwind, connect with fellow members, and share your impressions of the day’s experiences.
