Last month, a survey was sent to WIISE members on how future events should be organised. The results of the survey shed light into the direction of our future events and we wanted to share what our members asked for.

Member Events 2023 In order of preference

A great number of members preferred events with good food and good conversation. Importance was also placed on scheduling a time that accommodates the most members. Overall, WIISE members just want to have good ol’ plain fun with the events they participate in.

As for future desired events, there were plenty of different responses but a general consensus can still be reached.

• At least one event should be held outside of Seinäjoki, as the reach of the WIISE network increases with every new member.
  
• More after-work coffee events are always a good idea, as well as company visits.
  
• Some would like to visit places of cultural significance in the local area or just partake in a tour.
  
• Networking opportunities as well as family-friendly events are also greatly appreciated for the future.
  
• Not to forget the several mentions of WIISE pet meets for those members that have different pets.

If you are one of those members with pets or small children, maybe you can help to arrange these types of meetings. Please contact one of the WIISE board if you’re able to help.

It seems WIISE members have a fun-filled 2024 ahead of them, at least regarding different events. Right now, the WIISE team is coming up with new, exciting places to visit, and events to hold, for our members and invited guests.
